Position Qualification – To qualify for a position, a player must have appeared at that position 10 times last year. Players will qualify for a new position during a season once they appear at the new position 5 times. Once this happens, a player’s eligibility is updated for the upcoming week. Players coming up from the minor leagues to make their first major league appearance will only qualify at the position they appeared in the most during the previous season in the minors. Players who have made their major league debut, but do not meet the minimum position qualification requirements, will be eligible at the position they appeared in most frequently their most recent season in the minor leagues or another country's major league system, such as Japan. Example: A September call up who plays 9 games at 1B and 6 in the OF will be eligible at 1B only. (Pinch hitting and pinch running do not count as positions.) If a player does not fit any of these categories, the player's eligibility will not be determined until they make either a minor or majoe league appearance, whichever is first.
Player Selection – The challenger will select their entire roster, which will be emailed to info@fantasybaseballbiggame.com Owners must have all rosters submitted by 11:59pm ET on the Saturday prior to the first week's game, which will begin that Monday. (This will allow Big Game one day to create their roster, as well as load them into Fanball). Players cannot be on both teams.
Free Agents – There are absolutey no Free Agents in the Fantasy Baseball Big Game Roto Head to Head Challenge. You must play the roster you submit for the duration of the challenge. Once your roster is submitted, there will be NO changes made to your roster. If players are injured, placed on the diabled listed, sent to the minor leagues or for any other reason, they are not playing on a major league club's team, they will continue to remain on your team; without the possibility of replacement.

*Each team’s pitching staff must complete a minimum of 25 innings
pitched per week. Failure to reach 25 IP's will result in an automatic loss of each pitching category.
Standard rotisserie scoring will be used. Teams will be ranked from best to worst in each category of the 10 categories. Each category will have a winner, which will be the team who does better. At the end of each week, the 10 categories will be compared. The team with the most category wins will be the weekly winner. If there is a tie, where each team wins 5 categories, the Big Game team will be deemed the winner for that week. Remember, you pick first and must beat the house in order to win! The challenger must win 6 categories in order to win for the week. If there is a tie in a particular category, such as saves, that category will be awarded to no one, butmthe challenger must still win 6 categories to be the weekly winner.
Categories are NOT cumulative. Each week, the stats start over again.
Pitcher's hitting statistics will not be used in owners hitting totals. Hitters pitching statistics will not be used in pitching totals. Only regular season stats count. In the event of a one game playoff to determine division winners and/or wildcard winners, stats from those games will count toward a team’s total statistics, as these are considered regular season games; however playoff games and World Series games do not count towards teams’ stats, as these games are part of the Post Season.
